Wild Redwoods cleanup

The wild Redwood cleanup.

What: The wild redwoods cleanup.

Why: We thought that it would be a good idea for our SVA to cleanup the redwoods saddley there wasn't much rubbish but we still got a lot of the redwoods cleaned.

Where: The big redwoods at Te Mata peak.

When: Thursday the 13th of December.

Who: Only Room 4 and some of our parents and Mr Harman and Mrs Gennet.

My reflection is: 

First we were at school and we were doing our work but then some of the parents started arriving we got ready and head off when we were there the safety officers which are Daisy Georgia and Lilly had to call the roll after that we started to walk it was horrible we kept on slipping over finally when we were there we got so muddy I got so muddy that I had to change my clothes but after I was so sore.

                The best day of my holiday

The best day of my holiday was when I went to my little cousins house. I was heading to my cousins house and my mum needed to get a coffee 20 minutes later ... finally we are here right mum lets go and see Harry. Oh my gosh look at you baby boy you look so grown up.

science with Trish

Something that I learned with Trish on Tuesday was if you have a cup of water with a lot of sugar that is dissolved  and then a cup of sugar with a little bit of sugar and then one with the tinniest bit of sugar but the sugar had to be dissolved and then color them with food dye and get a cup with only water and food coloring and then put get a syringe with some of the water with heaps of sugar fast into another cup and then the one with not to much sugar in it and then put it in the syringe and carefully put it into the cup and then get the one with a tinny bit of sugar and then but it in the syringe and carefully extrude it into the  cup with the other colors in it and then it will look like a rainbow from a angel but it will look like brown if you look at it from the top.


it was interesting because it wold stay as layers.

Yesterday we went to the science roadshow at the Hastings intermediate.

What I learnt was that some keys will fit in the lock but won’t turn and the other key will fit and it will turn.

The exhibit that was the most interesting to me was the rotating curtain because it would make you really dizzy.It was really interesting how when you put your foot on the pedal the curtain would turn and it ran on power. And all you had to do was put your foot on the pedal and the chair would stay still and only the curtain would spin.

My favourite part was the fire and ice show because it was really interesting when they did the part where they sprayed the green liquid and then the fire just blew into the air.

If you are really quick you will be able to re - light the candle by only using the smoke.

The MTG

The MTG trip

At the MTG:

I learned how to... use a green screen and not laugh when I act.

I enjoyed... using the green screen the best because we got to act.

on the iPad the green screen had a picture on it.

We did... a lot of fun things like acting, filming, green screening and

brain storming.

What I discovered... a cane that was passed down 2 times before it

was passed to the MTG.

At the MTG we got to dress up and act and green screen it was the most fun day of my life.

My calendar art

This is my calendar art its got a lot of color on the art and it represents that I like art. And when you do art it doesn't have to be perfect like for example I have more pink on my art than any of the other colors.

Daisy's Pokemon

This is my Pokemon called pikachu kitty and I put it on the Pride wall. The Pride wall is a wall that we have in our class. How the Pride wall works is if you're proud of a piece of you're art or you're work, each week on Monday we take everything off the wall so we can put another piece of our work or art up.
